Bhat Internal Medicine is a primary care practice in Tucson, Arizona.
The practice is led by Dr. Muralikrishna (MK) Bhat, a board-certified internist. He is joined by Ellen Pearson, FNP, a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Together they provide adult primary care for patients age 18 and older.
The practice is part of Arizona Community Physicians while maintaining the feel of a smaller, patient-focused medical office.
Our focus is straightforward: thoughtful medical care, continuity, and respect for our patients’ time and concerns.
We provide routine primary care, preventive care, and ongoing management of common chronic medical conditions. When specialized care is needed, we coordinate referrals with appropriate specialists.

Bhat Internal Medicine provides adult primary care in Tucson, Arizona.
Dr. Bhat practiced hospital medicine in Tucson from 2003 to 2006 before starting Bhat Internal Medicine in 2006. The practice is now part of Arizona Community Physicians while maintaining a small-practice environment focused on continuity of care.
Our goal is to provide careful evaluation, clear communication, and thoughtful medical decision-making. Good medical care works best when there is a partnership between patient and clinician.
We focus on preventive care, early identification of medical problems, and the long-term management of chronic conditions.

Office Staff is great, and you can get in to see the docs right away (typically same day). I have recommended them to several people and take my elderly dad (who has several major health issues) here when he is in Tucson for the winter. BOTH docs are very thorough and take the time to answer every question that comes up. I never feel silly asking them anything, and they make solid recommendations for treatment. Both Bhats are very laid back and calming. They have an onsite lab as well as online patient portals for instant access to my own records. Very convenient. Parking is easy with handicap accessible building and entrances. I'd give them 10 stars, if I could!
