The thyroid gland plays an important role in regulating metabolism, energy level, body temperature, heart rate, and many other bodily functions. Disorders of the thyroid are common and often develop gradually.

We diagnose and manage a wide range of thyroid conditions including hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules, thyroid enlargement (goiter), and abnormal thyroid laboratory results.

Symptoms may include fatigue, weight changes, heat or cold intolerance, hair loss, constipation, palpitations, anxiety, tremor, or changes in mood. Because these symptoms can overlap with many other conditions, careful evaluation is often necessary.

Treatment depends upon the specific diagnosis and may include medication, ongoing laboratory monitoring, thyroid ultrasound, or referral to an endocrinologist when appropriate. Our goal is to restore normal thyroid function, relieve symptoms, and provide long-term monitoring when needed.
