Do you accept Medicare?
Yes. We welcome Medicare patients and provide Medicare Annual Wellness Visits as well as comprehensive primary care services.
Do I need an annual physical every year?
For most adults, regular preventive visits are an important part of maintaining good health. Annual visits provide an opportunity to review your overall health, update preventive care, and identify medical problems early.
What is the difference between an Annual Physical and a Medicare Annual Wellness Visit?
A traditional annual physical includes a comprehensive physical examination and preventive health assessment. The Medicare Annual Wellness Visit focuses on preventive services, health risk assessment, and development of a personalized prevention plan as defined by Medicare.
Do you manage diabetes?
Yes. We provide comprehensive management of diabetes, including medication adjustment, laboratory monitoring, preventive care, and education to help reduce long-term complications.
Do you treat high blood pressure and high cholesterol?
Yes. Hypertension and hyperlipidemia are among the most common conditions we manage. Treatment includes lifestyle counseling, medication management, and ongoing monitoring.
Do you treat thyroid disorders?
Yes. We evaluate and manage hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules, and other thyroid conditions.
Do you manage osteoporosis?
Yes. We evaluate bone health, order bone density testing when appropriate, and provide treatment designed to reduce fracture risk.
Can you perform Pap smears?
Yes. Pap smears and pelvic examinations are provided in our office according to current screening recommendations.
Can I request a female provider?
Absolutely. Ellen Pearson, FNP-C, provides comprehensive primary care and women’s health services, including Pap smears, pelvic examinations, contraception counseling, and menopause management.
Do you offer hormone replacement therapy?
Yes. We evaluate menopausal symptoms and discuss whether hormone replacement therapy or other treatment options may be appropriate.
Do you evaluate low testosterone?
Yes. We evaluate symptoms of testosterone deficiency, obtain appropriate laboratory testing, and provide treatment when medically indicated.
Do you perform skin procedures?
Yes. Our office offers several minor skin procedures including cryotherapy for common warts and removal of many skin tags.
Do you provide preoperative medical clearance?
Yes. We perform comprehensive preoperative medical evaluations and coordinate with your surgeon to help optimize your health before surgery.
Do you provide hospital follow-up care?
Yes. We encourage patients to schedule prompt follow-up visits after hospitalization to review medications, monitor recovery, and coordinate ongoing care.
Do you help patients stop smoking?
Yes. We provide counseling, medication options, and ongoing support to help patients successfully quit tobacco.
Do you treat anxiety and depression?
Yes. We evaluate and manage common mental health conditions and coordinate care with mental health professionals when appropriate.
Do you coordinate care with specialists?
Yes. We routinely work with cardiologists, endocrinologists, nephrologists, pulmonologists, gastroenterologists, neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, dermatologists, oncologists, and many other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
How do I cancel an appointment?
Please call the office at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel.
How do I request medication refills?
Please contact your pharmacy first. The pharmacy will send the refill request to our office electronically.
When will I receive my lab results?
Most lab results are available within 5–7 business days.
What should I bring to my appointment?
